TLDR: This month, Lorenzo officially joined us as Head of Product, we're deep in licensing conversations, actively interviewing developers, and gathering invaluable feedback through Round 5 of user research. Momentum is building as we head into the ‘heads-down-and-build’ year of 2026!

DEAR HORMONE ENTHUSIASTS,

Welcome to 2026: our year of building.

If last year was about learning, listening, and validating, this year is about execution. We have hit the ground running, setting ourselves up to turn conversations to creation and insights into impact.

Thank you for being here as we make it happen. 💫

MOMENTUM

Welcome, Lorenzo! We're thrilled to officially announce that Lorenzo Guio has joined femmli as our Head of Product (Hardware Development and Engineering). Lorenzo brings his materials science engineering expertise and a passion for turning breakthrough technology into real-world solutions. His leadership in hardware development and engineering is already making a big impact. And his contagious, go-getter, always learning attitude has brought a new level of motivation and excitement to everyone on the team. We are so excited to have you on board, Lorenzo!🎉

Licensing Conversations: We're continuing deeper conversations with licensing partners to better understand feasibility, timelines, and the technical steps needed to measure hormones through interstitial fluid. These discussions are shaping our path forward, and we're excited about the possibilities ahead.

Developer Interviews: We're actively interviewing full-stack developers to join our team. Finding the right technical talent is essential as we move from prototype to product, and we're grateful for everyone who has shared recommendations.

PMR Round 5 in Progress: Yes, we're still at it (and yes, it never ends 😅). This round is focused on validating our MVP features and understanding what women need most when navigating perimenopause. The insights we're gathering are directly shaping what we build. If you know anyone who'd like to participate, please share our Calendly!

WHAT'S NEXT

  1. Licensing: Continuing our conversations to map out partnership opportunities and technical pathways forward.

  2. PMR Round 5: Wrapping up user research and synthesizing learnings to refine our product roadmap.

  3. Community Engagement: Connecting with influencers and content creators to grow our community and engage with more women navigating perimenopause.

WE WOULD LOVE YOUR HELP

Network, Network, Network: We are looking for:

  • Full-stack developers with a passion for women's health

  • Content creators to help us grow our community

  • Endocrinologists specializing in perimenopause

  • Researchers or founders in the biosensor or hormone monitoring space, focused on estradiol

Share Our Calendly With Women experiencing Perimenopause: If someone comes to mind, please share this blurb:

A few friends of mine are building a start-up in the hormonal health space and are looking to speak with women in the U.S., ages 40–55+, about their perimenopause journey. The chats are ~20 minutes, confidential, and require no prep. Your input will directly shape what they build. Here’s the Calendly link to sign up.

Like, Follow, Subscribe: If you haven’t already, follow us on Instagram and TikTok, share our posts, and help us grow! Let us know if you want to be featured. We love spotlighting our community.

FUN FACT OF THE MONTH

Did you know? More than half of women aged 30-35 experience moderate to severe perimenopause symptoms. Yet, most don't seek treatment until age 56 or older. [source]

Perimenopause may not be as far away as we think! That's a 20+ year gap between when symptoms start and when women finally get support. We're building femmli to close that gap, and help women prepare for every step of the journey.
