femmli is developing a patch to track hormones in real time, to help women experiencing perimenopause finally speak their bodies’ language. We are Dani, Nadeen, and Lorenzo, and we are excited to have you here!

TLDR: May was PACKED. Dani officially graduated, we welcomed Dilyana as an advisor, crossed more than halfway on our raise, blitzed through NY and Boston Tech Week, and opened recruiting for our MIT clinical study. 🎓🔬

DEAR HORMONE ENTHUSIASTS,

We are going to be honest. May felt like three months packed into one.

Between a graduation and two tech weeks across two cities, it was the kind of month that reminded us why we started this in the first place. Things are moving. Fast.

If you are new here, welcome! You can catch up on who we are and what we have been building in our previous issue here. We are so happy you found us.

IV. Fun Fact of the Month

MOMENTUM

Dani is OFFICIALLY Full-Time. After years of running femmli alongside an MIT Sloan degree (truly, how), Dani has graduated! It is a huge personal milestone and an even bigger one for the company. We have entered a new chapter. Congratulations, Dani! <3

Welcome to the Team, Dilyana! We are beyond thrilled to welcome Dilyana Ocetova as our Data Science Advisor. Dilyana is a Senior Director of Data Engineering and Analytics at Liaison, where she has spent nearly a decade building and leading data products and analytics strategy. She is a founding member of Women Applying AI, a speaker at MIT's Imagination in Action AI Summit, and a mentor at the TNT Accelerator (this is how we met!). She brings exactly the kind of data and analytics leadership we need to shape our platform's backend logic and personalized insights. Welcome to the femmli family, Dilyana. We are so glad you are officially here.

We Have Crossed the Halfway Point on Our Raise: After just one month of our raise, we have hit $600K in soft commits (of which, $200K is already in the bank!). If you or someone in your network has ever thought about investing in women's health, this is your moment. Drop us a note and we will walk you through everything.

Tech Week(s): We Did Not Come to Play. Dani covered 15 events across Boston and NY Tech Week (winning the audience choice award at one of the pitch competitions – that is 2 for 2 now!). Nadeen held it down at 7 events in New York. Lorenzo flew out to the Seattle Investor Summit and Showcase. Across the board, we sat down with 20+ investors this past month, and the conversations confirmed that the appetite for what we are building is very, very real.

WHAT’S NEXT

1 - Close the Raise: We are in the final push and every conversation counts. If you have been curious or know someone who might be, do not wait on this one.

2 - Clinical Study: This month, we will be heads down gathering data from our clinical study participants. It will give us a jump start to our algorithm.

3 - Socials Reboot: We are getting back on Instagram and TikTok in a bigger way. New content, more community, more of the femmli voice showing up consistently. Stay tuned for more!

WE WOULD LOVE YOUR HELP

Invest in femmli: We are more than halfway to our goal and want to close this round with the people who have believed in us from the start. If you or anyone you know are interested in joining this round, let us know!

Join Our Clinical Study This Month! We are putting the finishing touches on an MIT clinical study on perimenopause and continuous hormone tracking. If you know someone who might be a fit, feel free to pass along this blurb:

"Some friends of mine are launching a clinical study at MIT on perimenopause and continuous hormone tracking. They are looking for women ages 40 to 55 experiencing symptoms like irregular periods, hot flashes, night sweats, or sleep disruption. If that sounds like you, shoot them a note at [email protected]!"

Network, Network, Network: We are always looking for full-stack developers, data analysts, content creators, and endocrinologists. If anyone comes to mind, please send them our way!

Like, Follow, Subscribe: If you haven’t already, follow us on Instagram and TikTok, share our posts, and help us grow!

FUN FACT OF THE MONTH

Menopause reform has grown into a national movement, with more than two dozen bills introduced across 18 states in 2025 alone. Legislators are now considering mandating insurance coverage for menopause-related treatment, improving clinician training, and introducing workplace protections for menopausal women. (Source)

For decades, perimenopause was barely a policy conversation. Now it is on legislative agendas coast to coast. We have been saying the need is urgent. Turns out, the rest of the country is finally catching up. 💙
