TLDR: This month, we welcomed Dr. Michele Ferguson as our first medical advisor, crossed $250K in soft commitments with term sheets underway, and got our IRB provisional approval for our mini clinical study at MIT.
DEAR HORMONE ENTHUSIASTS,
We are deep in it. Investor conversations, partnership calls, research milestones; the pace has picked up and we are here for every bit of it. This month has been one of those months where we looked up and realized just how far we have come from where we started.
If you are new here, welcome! You can catch up on who we are and everything we have been up to in our latest newsletter. We are so glad you are here.

MOMENTUM
Our First Medical Advisor: Dr. Michele Ferguson!! We are beyond thrilled to welcome Dr. Michele Ferguson as femmli's first Medical Advisor. Dr. Ferguson brings over 10 years as a physician in the women's health space, anchored in longevity, and is a superstar physician-exec at a rising femtech startup. Welcome to the femmli family, Michele. We are so lucky to have you.
Fundraise Momentum Continues: We have now had over 80 conversations with investors, crossed $250K in soft commitments, and have already begun signing term sheets. The energy around what we are building is palpable, and we are so grateful for every person who has taken the time to hear our story. We are still raising and would love to bring more of our community along for the ride. More below on how to get involved.
Our IRB Provisional Approval for Our MIT Clinical Study! Remember that mini clinical trial we told you about? It is officially happening. Our IRB protocol has been approved, and we are gearing up to launch our study at the MIT Center for Clinical and Translational Research this month. This study will explore the correlation between continuous data tracking and perimenopause symptoms, and it is a huge step in building the scientific foundation behind femmli. Major shout out to Merche Balcells-Camps, who has been a wonderful champion for us in this process.

WHAT'S NEXT
Continue Raising: We are still raising our first family, friends, and angels round. Every conversation brings us closer, and we are energized by the momentum. If you or someone you know is interested, please reach out!
Launch Our Clinical Study: With our IRB provisionally approved, we are prepared to officially kick off our mini clinical trial at MIT this month. This is the moment we have been building toward on the research side, and we cannot wait to see the data come in.
Begin Building with Our Hardware Partners: We are moving from conversations to execution with our licensing and hardware partners. The next phase of femmli's product is taking shape, and it starts now.
WE WOULD LOVE YOUR HELP
Invest in femmli: We are raising and would love to have our cheerleaders be part of it. If you are interested or know someone who might be, please reach out!
Sign Up + Share the Waitlist: Head to our website, sign up for the VIP waitlist, and send it to any woman you know who is navigating perimenopause or aligned with our mission.
Network, Network, Network: We are still looking for full-stack developers, data analysts, content creators, and endocrinologists. If anyone comes to mind, please send them our way!
FUN FACT OF THE MONTH
Current medical guidelines actually advise doctors not to rely on hormone test results when treating perimenopause, because hormones during this transition fluctuate so dramatically that a one-time reading can't tell the full story. As one OB-GYN put it, testing hormones once is like watching two seconds of a movie and thinking you understand the entire plot.
That's exactly the problem femmli is solving. Instead of a single reading taken on a random Tuesday, our continuous hormone tracking patch captures your hormonal pattern over time, giving you (and your doctor) the context needed to actually take action. (source)
Thank you for reading! If you have feedback or ideas for future updates, please reply directly. We truly read every message.
