TLDR: This month, we have a lot to celebrate. We are launching our first family & friends (and angels) fundraising round, uplifted our website with a VIP waitlist, received a Statement of Work from a key licensing partner, kicked off conversations for a mini clinical trial at MIT, and wrapped our latest round of user research with some game-changing insights. Buckle up. 👠

DEAR HORMONE ENTHUSIASTS,

What started as a season of quiet, heads-down building turned into one of our most milestone-dense months yet. From gearing up to our first fundraise launch to preparing for a clinical trial at MIT, it feels like everything we have been working toward is finally coming to life.

If you are new here, welcome! You can catch up on who we are and everything we have been up to in our latest newsletter. We are so glad you are here.

To our longtime cheerleaders: thank you. This one is for you as much as it is for us. 🫶🏼

MOMENTUM

We Are Launching Our First Fundraise!! We are officially raising $650K through our first family, friends, and angels round, and we are using this newsletter to kick it off. We have already received almost 20% in soft commitments, which tells us there is high demand (thank you!). If you are interested in learning more (or know someone who might be), please reach out to us or schedule time with us! We would love to take our community of cheerleaders along with us on this journey, which is why you all are the first to know.

Statement of Work from a Licensing Partner: This one is big. We received a Statement of Work from a key licensing partner, marking the transition from early conversations to something tangible and real. We cannot share all the details just yet, but this is a meaningful step forward in bringing continuous hormone tracking to life. Stay tuned.

Gearing Up for a Clinical Trial at MIT: As we all know, there is nowhere near enough research on perimenopause. We got tired of waiting, so Lorenzo said, let’s just run a trial ourselves. What, like it's hard? We are in the early stages of setting up a mini clinical trial at the MIT Center for Clinical and Translational Research  to study the correlation between continuous data tracking and perimenopause symptoms. More to come as it takes shape.

New Website + VIP Waitlist: Our website got a serious glow-up. We refreshed the look, sharpened the messaging, and added a VIP waitlist so women can sign up to be first in line when femmli launches. Go check it out and share it with anyone you think should be on the list!

PMR Round 5 Learnings: Round five is wrapped and we are walking away with so much clarity.

  1. Our MVP is resonating, and the feedback we received to make it better was invaluable. Women told us they are looking for simplicity and convenient data tracking above all else, so that is exactly where we are starting. One woman said, unprompted, "You have product market fit, girl." That hit deep.

  2. Hormonal Replacement Therapy (HRT) came up in almost every conversation. With more women turning to HRT to manage their symptoms, understanding its impact on their day to day is becoming increasingly important. That is going on the roadmap.

WHAT'S NEXT

  1. Fundraise: We are seeking $650K in funding to hire additional team members, run our clinical trial, work with our licensing partner, and cover legal fees. Every dollar has a home, and we have been extra intentional about where it goes.

  2. Licensing: Deepening our partnership and moving toward execution on our SoW.

  3. Clinical Trial: Continuing to gear up for our MIT trial and building out the scientific foundation behind femmli.

  4. Waitlist: Growing our community and getting femmli into the hands of the women who need it most.

WE WOULD LOVE YOUR HELP

Invest in femmli: We are so excited to be raising and would love to have our cheerleaders be part of it. If you are interested or know someone who might be, please reach out!

Sign Up + Share the Waitlist: Head to our new website, sign up for the VIP waitlist, and send it to any woman you know who is navigating perimenopause or aligned with our mission.

Network, Network, Network: We are still looking for full-stack developers, data analysts, content creators, and endocrinologists. If anyone comes to mind, please send them our way!

Like, Follow, Subscribe: If you haven’t already, follow us on Instagram and TikTok, share our posts, and help us grow!

FUN FACT OF THE MONTH

A recent study analyzing data from 1,745 women found that perimenopause is not a single, uniform transition. It is a spectrum of distinct hormone patterns, and frequent hormone tracking is the only way to capture it. [source]

More data means better, more personalized care. This is exactly why we are here!! 💜
